UK Minister for Africa, Lord Collins, Visits NMSI-built Hospital

Yesterday we were delighted to accompany Lord Collins, UK Minister for Africa, on a visit to one of our hospitals in Zambia. Kaonga Mini-Hospital is located in Mazabuka District, Southern Province. The visit was attended by Her Excellency the British High Commissioner to Zambia, Rebecca Terzeon and the Deputy High Commissioner, Sam Waldock, as well as the Hon. Elijah J. Muchima, Minister of Health for Zambia, the Permanent Secretary for Technical Services, Dr. Kennedy Lishimpi and the Zambian High Commissioner for London. NMS Infrastructure was commissioned by the Zambian Government to build 115 mini hospitals which have brought much needed primary healthcare facilities to rural areas of Zambia. This visit cemented the relationship between the UK and Zambia in working together to improve healthcare across the country.
