NMS presents at DIT UK-Africa Investment Conference 2021

Nicholas Oliver, Head of Business Development at NMS Infrastructure and Co-Chair of the Africa Infrastructure Board, was a guest-speaker at the UK-Africa Investment Conference 2021, hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT), to discuss the success of NMSI’s projects in Africa and how NMSI has worked to overcome the challenges in funding and delivering infrastructure projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Africa Investment Conference brought together African and UK businesses for a one-day virtual event, to explore the opportunities for partnership and investment. The event provided a platform for attendees to hear directly from UK companies about the opportunities and challenges of investing in and conducting business across the continent.  

Speakers of note included Prime Minister Boris Johnson, James Duddridge MP (Minister for Africa, FCDO), Lord Grimstone of Boscobel KT (Minister for Investment, DIT) and Emma Wade-Smith OBE (HM Trade Commissioner for Africa).
